BLAST Pro Series São Paulo 2019 – A complete Betting Guide

Posted on March 20, 2019 - Last Updated on August 28, 2020

BLAST Pro Series São Paulo 2019 is just round the corner. The first BLAST Pro Series of 2019 is going to take place in Brazil and once again, 6 teams will battle it out for their share of the $250,000 prize-pool. The first matches will be played on March 22nd, whilst the grand final will be played on March 23rd.

Where can I place my BLAST Pro Series Bets?

From what we’re able to see, Betway is providing the best CSGO betting odds for BLAST Pro Series São Paulo 2019. Alongside Betway, GGBet and Arcanebet also stepped up with their odds, and you can not go wrong with any of these bookmakers.

BLAST Pro Series São Paulo 2019 outright winner odds:

  • Astralis – 1.65
  • Liquid – 5.25
  • MIBR – 6.50
  • ENCE – 11.00
  • FaZe – 13.00
  • NiP – 22.00

As you can clearly see from the odds above, Astralis is once again a huge favourite in this one.

There is no denying that Danes are definitely the best team on BLAST Pro Series São Paulo 2019. However, this tournament attracted a lot of attention, and if you are to look at HLTV’s top 10 CSGO teams list, you will see that all 6 of these teams are ranked amongst the top 10 teams in the world.

From the CSGO betting odds perspective, I believe that Astralis has the best chance to win BLAST Pro Series São Paulo 2019. Astralis is coming from a commanding victory against ENCE in the IEM Katowice 2019 grand final. They have also beaten teams like FaZe, MIBR, NiP, and Liquid without any problem.

The only team that could come close to taking them down is MIBR, but they would have to play at their highest level in order to do so. We’ve got Astralis in our books; even though CSGO betting odds are not so high for this betting prediction, this is still a safe bet.

Betting prediction: Astralis to win BLAST Pro Series São Paulo 2019
Odds. 1.65

BLAST Pro Series São Paulo 2019 format

If this is not your first rodeo with the BLAST Pro Series tournaments, then you probably know that when it comes to format, BLAST Pro Series is pretty unique.

All 6 teams will compete in one group. Single-round robin format has been put in place. This means that these teams will play against each other only once, in a best-of-1 format.

When it comes to placements, the bottom three teams from the group are eliminated. On the other hand, the two teams that finish on top of the group will advance through to the grand final where they will compete in a best-of-3 series.

Lastly, the 3rd placed team will compete in a BLAST Pro Standoff. This is basically a series of 1v1 duels. A total of 5 duels have been put in place. The 3rd placed team will choose their opponents in this one. However, they cannot choose a team that is playing in the grand final of BLAST Pro Series São Paulo 2019.

Sadly, we were unable to find CSGO betting odds for the Standoff.

These are the weapons used in the BLAST Pro Standoff:

  • M4A4/M4A1-S
  • CZ75
  • Desert Eagle
  • AK47
  • AWP

As mentioned above, there are 5 duels in total. Every duel is played until one player wins 7 rounds. In the end, the team with the most kills wins. However, if we end up with a tie, the team with the most victories wins.

Whoever comes out on top will walk away with an additional $20,000.

BLAST Pro Series São Paulo Prize Pool

A total of $250,000 has been added to the kitty for BLAST Pro Series São Paulo 2019. This is the full prize pool breakdown:

  • 1st – $125,000
  • 2nd – $50,000
  • 3rd – $25,000
  • 4th – $15,000
  • 5th – $10,000
  • 6th – $5,000

Round 1 match-ups:

  • FaZe – NiP
  • MIBR – ENCE
  • Astralis – Liquid

From the betting side of things, CSGO odds on some of these matches are really high. For instance, Betway is giving 1.75 for FaZe’s victory against NiP. Alongside these CSGO odds, MIBR is also being underestimated against ENCE. These two bets have insane value.

Round 2 match-ups:

  • Astralis – ENCE
  • FaZe – MIBR
  • NiP – Liquid

In this round, MIBR is favoured over FaZe. At the moment, CSGO odds on Betway vary from 1.50 to 1.60. Furthermore, Liquid is valued at 1.50 against NiP. Odds on Liquid’s CSGO match are through the roof, and this should be free money if you ask me. But, a lot of things can go sideways in a best-of-1 match, so be cautious.

Round 3 match-ups:

  • ENCE – NiP
  • Liquid – FaZe
  • Astralis – MIBR

The third round of BLAST Pro Series São Paulo 2019 is going to be an all-out brawl. At the time of writing, CSGO betting odds on Liquid are juicy once again. Even though they are playing against FaZe, I still believe that there is a huge value if you are to bet on Liquid. Secondly, CSGO odds on MIBR to win against Astralis are crazy. I simply have to take MIBR at 3.20.

Round 4 match-ups:

  • MIBR – Liquid
  • ENCE – FaZe
  • Astralis – NiP

Once again we are going to see some great fights between these two teams. From a betting perspective, we would skip this round. Anyone is capable of winning here. The only advice we can give is that you can chase underdogs and huge odds. It wouldn’t surprise us to see a lot of comebacks in round 4.

Round 5 match-ups:

  • ENCE – Liquid
  • MIBR – NiP
  • Astralis – FaZe

Once again Astralis and FaZe are going to face off. However, we would not bet on anyone except MIBR in round 5. At the moment, CSGO betting odds on MIBR to win against NiP are really high. At 1.50 is simply have to take MIBR in this one, especially against a weaker side that is NiP.
