ELEAGUE CS:GO Premier 2018 Match Predictions and Tournament Analysis

Because the groups have not yet been announced, we cannot make any specific match up predictions. We can still look at the overall event and make some predictions on which teams are most likely to come out on top.

You can use this information to make smart bets on the teams that are likely to win the group stage and make bets against the teams that are likely to lose.

For example, MIBR’s recent performance issues would suggest that a match up against Astralis, a team that has performed very well recently, would most likely go in Astralis’ favor.

Astralis Predictions

Astralis are one of the best performing teams in the world right now. We don’t think Astralis will win every game they play, but we do strongly believe they will at least make it into the playoffs.

With that in mind, it may be wise to make a range of small to medium bets on Astralis throughout the tournament, putting slightly more on match ups against weaker performing teams.

Suggestions for these kind of bets would be games where Astralis faces MIBR, Cloud9, and perhaps even FaZe, depending on who FaZe’s currently undetermined fifth player is.

Cloud9 Predictions

Cloud9 are missing a player so they need to scramble together a fifth quickly. Obviously, with the roster issues in mind, Cloud9 has been having a terrible time in events, especially against tier 1 teams.

We think that Cloud9 will be one of the few teams to suffer early on during the CS:GO ELEAGUE Premier 2018 group stage. It’d be wise to bet against Cloud9, especially if they go up against a consistent team like Astralis, Fnatic, mousesports, or NaVi.

FaZe Clan Predictions

FaZe also has a similar problem to Cloud9, but with different results. With Olofmeiser still taking time off, FaZe has had to seek out a fifth man for the past couple of months. Despite all this, FaZe has still managed to perform considerably well in events.

The star power from rain, karrigan, Niko, and GuardiaN has helped to keep FaZe afloat. We think that bets on FaZe against MIBR and Cloud9 would be wise, but otherwise you should carefully consider their opponents. It also all depends who FaZe’s mysterious fifth player will be for this event.

Fnatic Predictions

Fnatic has been very consistent at getting into the playoffs at events and then losing in the semifinals or quarterfinals. We think it’ll depend heavily on the group that Fnatic gets put into, but so long as Fnatic isn’t against NaVi or Astralis, we think they’ll have a good chance to at least get through to to the semifinals.

There could be some chances to make bets on games where Fnatic goes up against any team but NaVi or Astralis. Pay close attention to Team Liquid, mousesports and FaZe, though. If either of these teams look particular on fire during ELEAGUE, you may want to avoid betting on Fnatic.

Team Liquid & mousesports Predictions

mousesports-ELEAGUE-CSGO-Premier-2018-predictions

I’ve placed Mousesports and Team Liquid together because the advice for them is mostly the same. Games against MIBR and Cloud9 should be easy, but everything else depends on their performance in the event itself.

Both teams can pull out incredible results, but they also have issues with consistency, especially against other tier one teams. If either team looks particularly hot during the first group stage matches, consider placing small bets.

MIBR Predictions

We still don’t think MIBR has quite had enough time to pull themselves out of their slump and they will need more time now that Stewie2K is in the mix. For this event, we’re not expecting much from MIBR and would even suggest betting against them in most cases.

NaVi Predictions

We think that NaVi will be an easy choice for a playoff team. Like Astralis, consider making small bets against NaVi throughout the entire tournament, putting slightly more on the line for match ups against FaZe, MIBR, Liquid, and Cloud9.

We hope that these predictions will be useful. With all this in mind, will you be making any bets on the ELEAGUE CS:GO Premier 2018 tournament?
