BONUS OFFER
Check out the decent STS welcome offer
At the moment there’s a great STS welcome offer on for all new customers and you don’t need an STS betting bonus code to get it. The bonus comes in the form of a matched bet deal where you can get your first bet matched up to £30. To claim this deal, you need to set up your first STSBet account, and then you will have to make a qualifying deposit of at least £5 with any payment method other than Paysafecard, Skrill, EcoPayz, Rapid, MuchBetter or Neteller.
After this, you won’t need to enter an STS bonus code, but you will need to make a qualifying bet with a stake of between £5 and £30. This needs to be made on an accumulator bet with at least three selections, and each selection needs to have odds of 1.80 or higher. If you manage to do this, then STSBet will match your stake by 100% up to £30.
Your bonus will be granted in the form of extra bet tokens that have to be used on odds of 1.80 or higher within 14 days, and these tokens can’t be withdrawn. All in all, a decent welcome offer that you don’t even need an STS bonus for. Terms and conditions apply, 18+.
There’s also a great esports no deposit bonus available for customers in countries like Germany and Norway. This gives you €5 in extra bets after you enter the SPORTVIP bonus code, and you are free to use this on any esports odds of 1.91 or more. Just remember that you have to roll over any winnings 10 times in 30 days before you can make a withdrawal.
Don’t forget that some European customers might be able to access a matched deposit bonus that gives you 100% extra on your first deposit up to €100. You’ll need to make a minimum deposit of €5 to get this, and you can use the bonus on any sports except for tennis. Be aware that you have to meet the wagering conditions which means betting your bonus eight times on odds of 1.90 within 30 days. Terms and conditions apply.
BETTING MARKETS
Nice range of STS esports betting markets
STSBet might not feature the largest range of esports that we’ve come across. But you’ll be glad to know that this brand serve up plenty of betting markets for your favourite first-person shooter. This means that you get plenty of flexibility for wagering on top esports tournaments like the ESL Pro League and more.
For a typical CSGO ESL Pro League match, STS will commonly provide you with around 20 distinct betting markets. This means that you don’t have to settle on a simple match winner bet. Instead you can pick and choose from bets on things like total rounds in each map, the rounds total for each team, pistol round winner and so on. Plus you also get to try fun bets like will there be an overtime or not, predict an odd or even number of rounds, or try some handicap betting too.
No live streaming hurts the STS review score
Like all decent esports betting sites, STS take great pride in serving up a wide range of in-play bets for the biggest and best esports. This means that you can take bets on games like CSGO after the match has begun and take advantage of the ever-changing live esports odds. In addition to this, we were pleased to find that STS have a good range of betting markets for their in-play bets so that you didn’t have to settle on a standard match winner bet.
However, STS might lose a few points for the fact that they don’t include anything in the way of live streaming. Many dedicated esports betting sites have found great success in embedding a live Twitch stream in their in-play betting area and we would hope that STS would do the same soon. Obviously, there’s nothing stopping you from just opening up another browser window so that you can watch the action and then place a CSGO live bet at STSBet.
CUSTOMER CARE
24/7 email help found in our STS betting review
Our review was glad to find that STSBet give you a simple way to get in touch if you need any help on their website. This comes in the way of an email support form, although there is also an email address in the About Us section. By sending an email, you can get responsive assistance to anything from using an STS bonus code to making a withdrawal.
Whilst the email customer support is open 24/7, we were a touch disappointed to find that STS didn’t have a live chat feature and there wasn’t a telephone hotline either. Thankfully, STS had taken the time to include a relatively simple and straightforward FAQ section. This is a good place to go if you need help setting up your account, or just want to find out more about the brand’s accepted payment methods.
PAYMENT METHODS
Safe ways to deposit to claim the STS welcome offer
Whilst some esports betting sites cater to Bitcoin fans, STS are all about CSGO real money betting. This means that you can take your pick of credit cards, debit cards, e-wallets and prepaid cards for funding your CSGO bets. As a result, you can expect to see a familiar selection of payment brands like Visa, MasterCard, Skrill, Neteller, Paysafecard and EcoPayz at STSBet. Just remember that not all of these payment methods can be used for claiming the STS welcome offer.
STSBet won’t charge you any money for adding funds to your account, and they also allow you to make withdrawals free of charge. For all payment methods, you should be able to make deposits at STS from as little as £5 at a time. All deposits should show up in your STS account just about instantly, whilst for withdrawals, it should only take around three working days for your winnings to be paid out.
SECURITY & SAFETY
Fully licensed for secure STS betting in esports
STSBet are fully licensed and regulated by the UK Gambling Commission. This means that you get to enjoy some of the highest levels of security and customer care whilst you enjoy their CSGO betting options. Plus the brand have taken the time to display a certificate that proves that their website offers high levels of online security.
As STS also include some standard sports odds, we were pleased to discover that they have received a commendation from the Independent Betting Adjudication Service. This aims to resolve any betting disputes so that you should be able to get some assistance if anything went wrong with a betting verdict.
Some of us may be guilty of getting a little too carried away with our esports betting. But you don’t have to run this risk at STS as they have formed an alliance with GamStop so that you can get help in recognising when your online gambling might be running out of control.
BETTING ODDS
Our STS betting review discovered some decent esports odds
An esports betting site is only as good as the odds that they serve up, and so we couldn’t wait to see how STS’ CSGO odds matched up with other bookmakers’. As a result, we undertook a speedy odds comparison test between STSBet and Vulkanbet for an ESL Pro League Counter-Strike match between NRG Esports and G2 Esports.
If you wanted to back NRG Esports to win, then STS were offering decent odds of 1.71 which were only narrowly beaten by Vulkanbet’s odds of 1.74. However, if you thought that G2 Esports were going to win this match, then STS’ odds of 2.04 proved to be marginally better than the odds of 2.00 offered by Vulkanbet. All of which shows just how important it is to shop around to make sure that you are getting the very best esports odds possible.
Will there be a limit on your STS CSGO winnings?
It’s fairly common practice for all bookmakers to put some kind of limit on how much you can win at their betting sites. This ensures that the betting site can stay in business in case you manage to land a massive win.
STSBet state that the maximum winnings will vary according to the kind of sport. By looking through the brand’s betting rules, we can see that esports winnings could be capped at £6,250. This is a smaller betting limit that you might be able to find at other sites, but it’s still a decent amount. Just so you know, the minimum amount that you can bet on esports is £0.10.
INTERFACE & DESIGN
Straightforward betting site but no STS betting app
On the surface, the STSbet site is pretty straightforward and easy to use. Everything is laid out where you’d expect it to be with simple ways to log in, place your CSGO bets, and contact customer service. Plus we liked the fact that STS allow customers an easy way to switch between English and Polish language options.
However, there were a few questionable issues that we discovered in our review of the STS betting site. For starters, we couldn’t find any easy way to switch between fractional and decimal odds which was annoying as the site automatically set the odds to fractional format. Plus we found the actual navigation between different esports tournaments was a little more complicated than it needed to be.
In addition to this, we found nothing in the way of an STS app. Whilst the lack of an STSbet app shouldn’t stop you using a smartphone or tablet to browse and bet on the mobile-friendly STSbet site, it would have been nice if they could have catered a little more to their mobile customers.
OTHER SPECIAL FEATURES
Decent sportsbook and casino games found in our STSBet review
Whilst this STSBet review focused on the brand’s Counter-Strike bets, it’s important to remember that there’s more to this site than just the first-person shooter. As well as decent odds for other esports like LoL, Dota 2 and Overwatch, STS also has a solid sportsbook. This features thousands of live sports bets each week, and there are plenty of wagering options for sports like football, tennis, basketball, handball, athletics, cricket, rugby, motor racing and much more.
Plus we can’t talk about STS without mentioning their casino gaming section. This is packed with highly rated video slots games like Narcos, Ruby Casino Queen and Spinsane, and there’s also a good selection of video poker options. Don’t forget that STS also include a decent live casino area that has a nice selection of live dealer table games like roulette, blackjack, baccarat and hold’em.
CONCLUSION
Important findings discovered in our STS betting review
Our review of STS found that this is a betting site that should meet the basic needs of most Counter Strike fans. The brand covered the major CSGO tournaments, and they provided some competitive odds that are more than a match for some much more well-established brands. The lack of live streaming might prove off-putting for some, but we enjoyed the wide range of prematch and live CSGO betting markets.
Above all, the fact that STSBet is fully licensed with reliable payment methods and decent customer support means that this brand are a safe option for betting on Counter Strike. As STS grows, we hope they will do more to create their own mobile betting app and even give us an even bigger welcome bonus. But on the whole, it’s a solid start for STS.
